It very important to verify that the network is configured to accept and work with WebBrix.
Verify the following:
•TCP port 4050 (from PC to VertX) and port 4070 (from VertX to PC) are available and not being blocked by a firewall or router.
•TCP port 2571 (ASSA ABl Lockset) is available and not being blocked by a firewall or router.
•Port 80 (for HTTP communication) is available and not being blocked by a firewall or router.
•Ports 23 (for Telnet) and Port 20 & 21 (for FTP) are available and not being blocked by a firewall or router.
HID VertX/Edge/EVO Packet Sizes:
The following explains the average packet size for common network communications between a VertX/EDGE/EVO controller and WebBrix.

ASSA ABLOY Bandwidth
•Each lockset has a maximum memory of 3 MB, thus 3 MB is the largest amount of data the lock is able to transmit. 3 MB transfers are only possible during initial setup or after a sustained network outage.
•The average lockset will move between 5kB and 10kB of data in total per day.
